The 18th Match of the Big Bash League 2022-23 was played today bitween Sydney Sixers vs Melbourne Renegades at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney. In which Sydney Sixers won by 34 runs.

Melbourne Renegades won the toss and invited Sydney Sixers to bat first, Sydney Sixers batted first and started the inning very well, Josh Philippe played a very brilliant half-century inning of 55 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 5 boundaries in just 40 balls, and James Vince scored 26 runs in 23 balls, Jordan Silk scored 19 runs in 17 balls, Kurtis Patterson 17 runs in 16 balls, Moises Henriques dismissed just for 1 run, Daniel Christian 7 runs, Hayden Kerr 1 run, Sean Abbott 1 run, Ben Dwarshuis remains unbeaten for 6 runs, and Jackson Bird played an unbeaten inning of 13 runs in just 6 balls. In this way, Sydney Sixers scored 149 runs after losing 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and set a target of 150 runs in front of Melbourne Renegades.
