The 3rd ODI and last Match of the United Arab Emirates tour of Nepal, 2022 played today at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur. In which Nepal beats United Arab Emirates by 6 wickets to seal the series by 2-1.
Nepal won the toss and invited United Arab Emirates to bat first, which started the inning very badly, Afzal Khan played a very brilliant unbeaten half-century inning of 54 runs with the help of 1 six and 7 boundaries in 63 balls, Alishan Sharafu scored 33 runs in 69 balls, Rohan Mustafa scored 24 runs in 56 balls, apart from this no batsman could play well, Hazrat Bilal was remained unbeaten for 20 runs in 54 balls, Muhammad Waseem dismissed just for 11 runs, Vriitya Aravind dismissed without scoring, Chundangapoyil Rizwan dismissed just for 4 runs, Basil Hameed dismissed just for 8 runs, Vishnu Sukumaran 2 runs, Ahmed Raza and Zahoor Khan dismissed without scoring. In this way, United Arab Emirates scored 176 runs after losing 9 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs and set a target of 177 runs in front of Nepal.
Napal bowlers Dipendra Singh took 2 wickets for 22 runs, Kushal Bhurtel took 2 wickets for 32 runs, Gulsan Jha 2 wickets for 42 runs, Sompal Kami and Lalit Rajbanshi got 1-1 wicket.
Nepal chasing 177 runs in the second inning achived the target very easily by losing just 4 wickets in first ball of the 41st over, Nepal started the inning very brillaintly, althought the first wicket has gone just for 24 runs, Arjun Saud and Aasif Sheikh came to start the inning, the first wicket has gone for 24 runs in last ball of the 10th over, Arjun Saud dismissed for 9 runs in 33 balls, next batsman Gyanendra Malla came to bat handled the inning and played a very brilliant century partnership of 122 runs with Aasif Sheikh, the second wicket has gone for 146 runs in first ball of the 34th over, Gyanendra Malla dismissed after playing a very brilliant half-century inning of 64 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 7 boundaries in 73 balls, next batsman Rohit Paudel came to bat and he good strike ratate with Aasif Sheikh for a while, the third wicket has gone for 170 runs in 39.3 over, Rohit Paudel dismissed for 10 runs in 16 balls, followed by Dipendra Singh Airee came to bat and he run out wihout playing a ball as fourth wicket in last ball of the 40th over, the team score was 176 runs, next batsman Harishankar Shah came to bat and he remains unbeaten wihtout playing a ball with Aasif Sheikh, and Aasif Sheikh played a very brilliant unbeaten half-century and victory inning of 88 runs with the help of 12 boundaries in 119 balls. In this way, Nepal chased the target very easily by losing just 4 wickets in 40.1 overs and won the match by 6 wickets, and with this victory also won the series by 2-1.
United Arab Emirates' bowlers Hazrat Bilal and Aayan Afzal Khan got 1-1 wicket.
Nepal's batsman Aasif Sheikh was selected as the best player of the match, he played a very brilliant unbeaten half-century and victory an inning of 88 runs with the help of 12 boundaries in 119 balls.
