My Actifit Report Card: April 29 2025 | Every moment Counts!

Good day Hive worlds and my Actifit buddies! It's me again Iris, from East Java Indonesia. I am a working mom who travels a lot because my job requires me to visit factories in a few cities in East Java. Today I went to Pandaan, a small district pretty close to my hometown to check on production.

I used an economic bus today since I didn't have to arrive early, only scheduled for a routine check. I had to catch the bus at the central bus station at Malang first then stop at the bus stop near the elite housing area called Taman Dayu. It took around 1.5 hours if you ride an economic bus because the bus is just very slow. However, the Taman Dayu bus stop is one of my favorite places because it was surrounded by towering old trees. Very peaceful and lovely in the midst of a bustling city.

I directly went to the production area once I arrived because we had some issues with the fabric shipment. We were supposed to finish one of the dining room collections, but because the fabrics were delayed, we couldn't make the seat. So a lot of my chairs were just laying around sadly waiting for the next process.

After some discussion, we agreed to fill the finishing line with replacement part orders that were long delayed. The replacement parts are actually very important for us because we can avoid full charge back of any defected items if we can replace the problematic part. However, since it was not the actual order, sometimes factory neglecting to fulfill these orders, which could cause problems.

My next agenda was to review the pre-production sample of a new additional item for one of my running groups. The bunk bed sample that we sent got some buyers interested so we would produce it next month. It was still on parts preparation so nothing much to check.

Since I finished pretty early, I decided to go home so I can spend more time with my beloved boy. Sadly, I forgot to bring my ear pod today so I went with old 2000s style using wire earbuds that I keep at the office a spare. I just couldn't ride the economic bus without ear pod or earbuds because the bus driver usually had weird music preferences.

As early as it was, when I arrived home it was around 5 PM already, so I just brought my son to a nearby playing ground. It was located at a different housing and took around 15 minutes to ride. This was one of the elite neighborhoods with breathtaking city views from the hillside of the city. We used to go to its clubhouse for swimming.

My son likes this playground so much because it is so big and cool. The air was so fresh this evening and we enjoyed playing and running around the neighborhood because it was always empty.

Particularly he enjoyed climbing the monkey bar there. I was amazed to see how fast he grew because right now he could climb this quite tall bar easily. I also took him for a barefoot walk on the thick grasses that planted on the area, since it was an elite housing, it has nice grasses that were really good for sensory development.

Since the sky was getting dark, I decided to go home so my little cheeky monkey could bathe, have dinner, and begin his bedtime routine. I was always in love with this slow routine when we could spend time together, sharing stories and just enjoying each other's companies. I hope this simple moment would be one of his joyful core memories.
