🚗🌤️ Wednesday Walk – From the Open Road to CUCEI’s Christmas Spirit

For this week’s Wednesday Walk, my day was split between two very different scenes:
a peaceful drive along the agave fields, and the festive atmosphere back at CUCEI, where the campus is already dressed for the holidays.

Here are some moments from today’s walk (and drive)!

🌄 Morning on the Road – Agave Fields & Golden Light

The day started with a quiet drive through the Tequila region.
The sun was low, painting the road in soft gold while the agave plants stood perfectly aligned on both sides.

A little further ahead, the mountains lit up beautifully under the early sunlight.
This view always reminds me how unique and iconic this landscape is.

🦁 CUCEI’s New Mascot at the Library

Arriving at CUCEI, I found the new mascot statue outside the library —
a bold, shiny figure in a bright yellow hoodie.
It definitely catches your attention and adds a fun touch to campus life.

🎄 CUCEI’s Christmas Tree

Near the parking area, the campus Christmas tree is already standing tall.
Wrapped in gold fabric and stars, it brings a festive energy to everyday routines.
Seeing it under the clear blue sky made the moment even nicer.

Even though today’s walk included both a highway and a university campus,
each place had its own kind of calm and beauty —
from open landscapes to holiday decorations.

Thanks for joining me for another Wednesday Walk! 🚶‍♂️✨
