📚 Wednesday Walk – A Quiet Day Around CUCEI
Today’s Wednesday Walk took place entirely inside CUCEI, the engineering and science campus where I spend many hours of my week.
Even though I come here almost every day, walking slowly with the intention of observing things gives the place a different feeling.
The light was soft, the weather warm, and the campus had that calm rhythm that appears in the mornings.
Let me share a few moments from today’s walk.
🌳 Starting the Day Under the Trees
The entrance path was covered with dry leaves and soft shadows.
It’s always one of the most peaceful spots of CUCEI.
🏀 Sports Areas and Open Space
I passed by the sports courts, where you can always see movement — people playing, walking, or just relaxing.
The sky was completely clear today.
🔬 Walking Toward the Laboratories
These blue tile stairs lead up to some of the microbiology and research labs.
I’ve walked these steps so many times, but the sunlight made them look different today.
🧪 Quiet Hallway Moments
Inside, the long hallway was almost empty.
Just the natural light coming through the windows and the calm before everyone returns from class.
🌿 A View of the Central Courtyard
To finish my walk, I stopped for a moment to look at the courtyard from above.
Students sitting, chatting, studying…
A simple and familiar scene, but one that I appreciate every time.
