The Forgotten Sethropod And The Deadly Noxious Fume Battle

It is time to take part in this week splinterland battle challenge, been a while though and I just cant skip this because the monster card picked is from the water element but isnt that popular or common during battle, I even had to check my cards to see which level my CRUEL SETHROPOD is, saw it at level 4 but I decided to rent a max card so I can battle with it.

Checking out the card, it is really strong been a 3 mana cap card but will only be useful at some certain rules, I know it will fit in some rules such as the reverse speed and the rules that allow melee monster to attack from any position but not having an ability put it in a disadvantage position, as a melee card it would have been a nice idea having a reach or healing ability so it can always take the first or second position. Using this particular card in a no magic card battle will be awesome especially if you boost it up with some speed and also some healing cards, It will always perform really well.

The Battle Details

Since am currently battling in the diamond league, I had to wait for the perfect rules to use the monster card, I was actually waiting for the 4 mana limit battle so I can use it with the dragon summoner Dragonscale but I wasnt giving such battle then I had to use this particular rule, luckily for me, I was facing @rebelwar in a 17 mana cap battle with the Noxious fumes and Holy protection rules and we were to pick any element except earth. I just have to analyze and give it a good thought because things are hard and we cant really see who we are battling with but seeing the rule and the mana cap, I knew what to use immediately and was hoping the opponent doesnt use something similar.

I had to pick the main card as my frontliner with a good armour but weak in front of magic monster cards, I place Furious chicken in the second position, very useless but i decided to use it to added extra health to my Gelatinous cube with the scavenger and healing ability which is in the third position. This particular card is a must use when we have the noxious fume rule, many really dont know how powerful this card is especially when levelled up. Medusa the magic stunner, It wont always disappoint, and finally I use Creeping ooze to cripply the opponent monster speed.

Most of the monster card I used are really helpless because their health is really low and they can be destroyed easily by the poison attached to them but they will really add up to the cube with the scavenger ability. I wasnt really shocked when I saw what my opponent use, even thou he use a thank tank heal card with a protect ability, I will probably say he shoot himself in the leg because crustacean king cant help him, I was hoping he will use gelatineous cube or a self healing card be he didn't,
