Perhaps you are like me who believes being able to walk and eating the right amount of food is enough to stay healthy, well we are both wrong. Even as an entrepreneur your busy schedule and constant need to think outside the box isn't an excuse to throw caution to the wind with your health. It wouldn't make sense if you eventually made the millions and suddenly you had heart problems due to the terrible amount of junk you have been living on or brain disease because you barely got 5hours of sleep in a week, and no taking the stairs frequently instead of the elevator is not enough to keep you healthy.

To maintain a healthy lifestyle first you must control what goes into your body because a couple of McDonald's a day won't do and eating them too frequently have adverse effects on your body. You need to eat right as well as be conscious of everything you take into your body ensuring that what you eat is packed with lots of nutrients or you could take supplements if you can't get all the nutrients needed only as a last option. Avoid unhealthy fats like saturated fats and go for foods packed with unsaturated fats instead, take lots of vegetables and fruits, reduce your salt and sugar intake as well because too much could raise your blood pressure or increase your risk of cardiovascular diseases. No matter how busy your schedule seems do ensure to not skip your meals, you could order takeouts and eat them on your way to business meetings or better still you could have brunch or dinner with clients. Whichever way suits you, make sure to take lots of water, you could also include milk and yoghurt from time to time as well as low sugar drinks.

Secondly you need to excercise. Walking down a couple of stairs is not enough excercise for a month, you could try home workouts or go for walks with your dogs or jogging from time to time you could also buy a threadmill or other gyming equipments that would help you stay fit. It is also important that you measure and monitor your weight frequently incase of weight loss due to a disease or weight gain due to bad health choices. Next you need to get enough sleep. The recommended hours for sleeping is eight hours and it is very important that you stick to it regularly. The amount of sleep as well as the quality of sleep you get has a great effect on your immune system and not only does it affect your immune system but also how your brain functions including productivity and creativity which are very crucial in your output as an entrepreneur.

You also have to surround yourself with positive energy because just like you need to control what you eat you also need to control the kind of people you surround yourself with. They have a huge influence on your life in many ways you can think of and so to be balanced emotionally and mentally make sure to surround yourself with people who motivate you and help you be better as well as criticizing you constructively from time to time. Personally you also have to exude positivity because by having a positive outlook in life it influences the way you see and approach things as an entrepreneur. Whatever you do make sure it is healthy and will contribute to making you a well-rounded entrepreneur.
