Unexpected Visit To Costco

Hi Everyone,

We were at a birthday party around 1 hour away from our area and on the way home, we drove past a Costco. Normally we would need to drive around 40 minutes to the nearest Coscto at Lidcome so this is our first visit to the Casula branch. First impression was its super big. They even have the fuel station there for cheap fuel whereas the one we nromally go to don't have that available. Since fuel is ridiculously expensive, it does help to get some cheap fuel if you are at these discount outlets. After we parked, we went straight into it. There was around 2 hours before the store close so we don't want to rush and not walk through each isle.

Gosh this branch is massive. The one we normally go to is big but compared to this one, it is at least 20-30% bigger. It felt like we had heaps of space even though it was a Sunday afternoon. Up and down the isle we explored and the first thing I stopped at was the set of 9 beauty set. It does look pretty impressive but unfortunately it was too expensive for my liking. It the price was under $180, I could think about it. We continued on and was super impressed with the amount of plants available here. Lots of of choices and as you can see, no crowds so there is less issues for social distancing.

We were mainly there for the dry goods especially for lunch box snacks which we did get but I was excited to find the Japanese teabags (love this brand!) and the Taiwanese brand 3.15pm bubble tea in a large box. No need to think, we bought a box of each and kind of regretting not getting another box of the bubble tea as it turned out to be super delicious. As in the for the price, way cheaper than you can get these two things from the Asian stores back in the city. We saw some crabs along the way but we don't have space in our freeze so hubby banned that idea.

After 90mins of shopping, we left with a small trolley load full of goodies. Normally we have the trolley full but we had stuff in our boot so these were the only thing that could fit. We couldn't even get the toilet paper most people end up buying there. Just before we left, we bought some snacks and drinks before heading back to the car. Shame this branch is so far, if we do visit our friend next time, I'll sure be coming back for another shop.
