Sweets From Les Gourmandises @ Bowral, Australia
Our weekend at Bowral was full of fun and food. One of the places we visited on the main shopping strip of Bowral was a French Patisserie shop called Les Gourmandises. The shop was in a bright green which you can't miss on this busy street. There were lots of nice bread, cakes, coffee and so on for the locals to purchase. We were heading to lunch but thought to stop over to get some cute macaroons as the kids saw them at the windows. There were so many yummy cakes to choose from but our kids really wanted the colourful macaroons for themselves and their friends back in the holiday house.
Croissants were $6 which is a little expensive compared to some high-end bakeries in Sydney and overall, I find the goods and services sold at Bowral were leaning on the expensive side of things. The boys ended up buying a box of different animal-looking macaroons for their friends and they all had them for dessert that night. The macaroons were pretty nice but a bit sweet for my liking. The kids seemed to have 1 and was enough except for BB M who wanted to have a second one so seeing there were leftovers, we let him have a second one and he soon overdosed on dessert. A nice cute bakery I recommend getting some sweets/dessert when you visit Bowral.
