Queens Birthday Long Weekend

Hi Everyone,

It's been a while since we had a long weekend with the last one back in Easter so we tried to make the most of this one. The next public holiday should be around October which is a few months away. We took this opportunity to take the kids to Vivid 2022, the most anticipated yearly light show in Sydney. It was canceled 2 years in a row due to COVID so we had to take the kids there this year. More on that another day.

Winter has hit us pretty hard with the unstable weather this year so we loaded up on lots of warm food like Pho and hotpot which my kids also love. It's great to find something everyone likes to eat so it's easy to cater for. Of course, we still found our way back to Chatswood to get some Gram, one of our favourite Japanese desserts which is suitable for BB E and me as it is gluten free. We did take the opportunity to get the boys to read some books and not just play games at home (they did get two new games this week) so it follows our 'work hard, play hard' motto. We have 1 more day till the end of the long weekend, no school tomorrow, another day of fun and good food!
