The Temple of King Ravana...

Hello Everyone,
While Homer authored two great (legendary) stories (Iliad & Odyssey) for Western Literature, Valmiki wrote other two great (legendary) stories (Ramayana & Mahabharata) for Eastern Literature.
Today I am sharing with you a few photographs of a temple located in Kataragama, Sri Lanka which was built to worship Ravana (The Villain in Ramayana). I didn't know another place in Sri Lanka that worships King Ravana as a god.
Sri Lankans not believe Ravana is a god. Since childhood, we learned Ravana as a Villain because we read, we watched Ramayana. But now we believe Ravana was a great king who was born in Sri Lanka. When I visited this temple & the peaceful nature around it, I got a mystical feel that I can't express in words. The day you visit Sri Lanka, you should go to this place & should experience that feeling. (This temple is located near to the Kiri Vehera at Kataragama).
