Why 2021 sucked from my perspective...

With so much joy in my heart I'm pleased to say I'm honored to join the contest for the first time in the weekend community.

Tell us why 2021 sucked and 2022 is going to be better - Be specific.

Honestly I'd have gone for option four where I'd have emphasized on my favorite @kemmyb but I really had to do option six as it is something that's history in the life of many. As long as we live we'll all tell the story to the generations yet to come.

Moving straight to the point, 2021 sucked real bad and even a kid at four can also tell the story. I remember when schools had to shut down because of covid and students had to stay back at home locked up without being able to even step outside to breathe fresh air. My cousin, who is six year old, felt really bad. She kept asking when she'd be able to go back to school. She always professed how she hated 2021 and wished the year would run out real quick because she believed that covid wouldn't move into the new year as there was gonna be a battle between the two. Lol.

It really sucked that many companies went bankrupt, the economic state of many nations were destabilized and the poor got even poorer. People died like common chickens and still do today because of the outbreak of the pandemic.

A disease that spread all over the world, what a year! A year where billions of lives were lost, a year where people lived at their lowest, a year where kids couldn't have enough fun as they ought to, a year where education was hindered for months. A year that came with a lot of loss and grieve not only for lives but for businesses.

I remember when the covid news hit the world, my uncle had a container that was to be shipped into the country but because of covid, it was held back and I tell you he lost a huge amount of money which left him traumatized for months if not for the kind of woman he had as a wife maybe he'd have passed out even before his said time.

2022 is gonna be better.

Some may see this as mere speculation but to me I don't wanna see it as that because I have this strong conviction that tells me it's gonna be just fine in 2022.

The fact that I didn't die of covid gives hope for better things and also the fact that things are getting better and is being put in place again also gives hope for a brighter 2022.

I really hope to see you all there (2022) waxing strong and growing higher. It's gonna be the best year if you just believe, I wish there'd be no more pandemic, just love laughter and peace of mind.
