"Get the doctor quickly" Sam shouted as the nurse approached the room in which his wife lay and at this time unable to breath normally.

The doctor rushed in telling Sam that he should leave the room while he attends to his wife but Sam was bent on staying and watching every process taken on his wife.

He tried not to cry as a man but his lovely wife was passing out. The most annoying of it all was she was passing out at the wrong time after waiting so long for a child she could call her own and now that's she's got the child she was not gonna stay and groom the baby.

The child lay in her cot on the other side close to her bed quietly watching every move of her dad, the doctor and nurses who were going in and out and the fight between her dad and the doctor who was tryna push him out of the room.

After so much struggle, Sam was finally left outside while the doctor attended to Mary with the aid of nurses. He placed her on oxygen and looked between her legs but she was bleeding seriously.

The doctor wondered what must have gone wrong but couldn't understand, he tested her over and over but didn't know what exactly could make her bleed that badly. Yes she had given birth to her beautiful daughter just a day ago but she was fine until the morning when Sam ordered the nurse to get the doctor.

He looked at the child who had been watching his every move and shook his head in pity because he felt the pain of the child growing up to not have a mother and also not having to taste the natural milk of her mother's breast.

The doctor did his best for Mary and somehow her bleeding reduced but she was still placed in oxygen.
"Make sure you keep an eye on her" he said to one of the nurses as he turned the door handle to leave the room.

Sam grabbed the doctors coat as he shivered and sweated from head to toe, and shaking him with all the strength he's got asking him "don't tell me my wife is dead, please don't say that", he broke down letting go of the doctors coat as he sat on the floor weeping.

"Umm, Mr Sam Davis" the doctor called out his full name. "Your wife is not dead and is placed on oxygen at the meantime I've done all my best to save her but you really can't see her now".

A nurse walked out of the room looking at the depressed man as she felt pity for him and his poor daughter.

The next morning, his wife was dead and her under skin had been tampered with so badly that it was the first of it's kind that ever happened in the history of living Waters hospital.

The nurse who had come to clean her up in the morning, beheld the sight as it looked horrible and disgusting, she covered her hands on her mouth as she couldn't shout but she just carried the baby who had been crying and left the room.

Sam woke up the moment he heard his daughter's voice, he looked up and saw the nurse whose countenance could tell that something terrible had happened plus her arms were shaking terribly as if she was gonna drop the baby on the floor with such trembling.

He stretched his hands for his daughter but the nurse refused to let go of the child because he could let her fall if he had her in his arms when he saw what had befallen his wife.

The doctor arrived but before he did, Sam wasn't allowed in the room he was asked to wait for the doctor. When the doctor finally arrived, Sam went in at the same time with the doctor to behold what had happened to his beloved wife.

He couldn't believe his eyes neither could the doctor, his wife's under leg had been ripped so badly and eaten as if a rat had eaten her body.

Sam held the doctor and again very seriously, this time asking him what he had done to his wife. "I'm gonna Sue this hospital "is this the reason you didn't want me to see her yesterday?, you had cut her so badly! He was so furious that tears were now an understatement.

Sam paced from one end to the other while the doctor was short of words, he lifted his eyes up and saw the CCTV camera that had been placed in the room so that anything which happens could be rewatched.

He told Sam about it as walked out of the room to make sure that he was vindicated. Sam follows behind as they walk into the technical room where all the screens were placed. The doctor looked for that of room5 where Mary Kay and rewinded the video to the time he had left her in the room.

Sam watched with so much interest and pain, the doctor had actually left her in good condition but what the hell had ripped her skin that badly. She was only left in the room with her baby

As the doctor kept zooming in and out he saw an image of something small, turning off the room light and walking to Mary mounted on her, everything happened so fast but he couldn't understand what was that, Sam was beginning to be terrified as he gnashed his teeth.

The doctor was confused as he kept playing the dark video trying to see through and know who did such a thing to a patient in his hospital.

He couldn't get the image clearly but it was seen that something had turned off the light and made a horrific sound as it munched Mary's skin.

Sam couldn't take it anymore, he laid the last hospital bill and took his daughter out of there back home but before he left, the doctor asked him to keep a close eye on the child he called daughter.

He looked at the doctor with a very bad eye in which if looks could kill, such a look would have so long taken the doctor down.

Sam cried as he sat in the driver's seat after placing his beautiful daughter in the back seat. He made sure she was placed properly.

He looked back at the girl and asked himself "could she be"? "No no" how can a baby do such a thing he shook the thought off his head. The child looked closely at him as she bubbled and made him smile so that he forgot his thoughts instantly.

They got home safely and he immediately called for a nanny who was given to him through the help of an agent. He left the house with the nanny and child, kissing his daughter goodbye as he left for work.

Sam had named his child Mia. Mia had been quiet all morning as her nanny rocked her to sleep. The nanny loved her as she was a good girl. Mia suddenly woke up but didn't cry.

The nanny had been in the kitchen trying to fix lunch for little Mia.

Sam got back home as he heard his daughters cry from inside the house and wondered where the hell the nanny had left her to. He came back earlier than expected. He hurried inside the house as he found his daughter laying in her cot crying.

He picked her up and rocked her till she was quiet and then walked around in search of the nanny. When he finally checked the kitchen, he found his daughter's nanny dead and ripped off skin just in the same area as was done to his wife.

He didn't know what to do, whether to cry , laugh or just go crazy. Was anything hunting him, now that he finally had a child after years of Marriage without any one something had finally come to hunt him and deprive him of joy.

He called an ambulance and the body was taken out. With enough evidence that he wasn't home at the time of the incident and the fact that his daughter was still very little, he was let go by the police.

Few months later, he took his daughter for daycare. He would leave her with other kids and pick her up at the close of work and as time went on, the same thing kept happening to other children.

He was now getting scared and ran back to the doctor for advice and finally a CCTV camera which had its own light was planted in his house. He called in another nanny and this time the nanny was to be very careful.

Mia was put to sleep as always and when the nanny went to make lunch she woke up. Mia moved on her small feet as she disappeared into the kitchen, the nanny who knew what to expect was now with a knife as she trembled to see a baby with blood just teeth as she was ready to tear apart her prey and she always aimed at the under skin.

There was a serious combat between these two and immediately the kitchen door swung open and the doctor hit Mia with a stick that she fell to floor and everything that had appeared soon faded away and she looked again like a normal baby.

Sam couldn't believe his eyes, Mia was taken to the hospital and a test conducted which showed that she had a bloodlust Gene which would continue as long as she had any human close to her and the only way out was for her to be eliminated.

Sam cried as he got up on his feet to leave but turned back and said to the doctor "how did she get into my wife's stomach? Dispose her". The doctor heaved a sigh of relief and injected Mia with a strange kind of medication which made her go numb instantly.
