Stuck in-between!

Her feet were failing as she ran even faster to get to safety. How could she survive from such an accident, how did she manage to come out from the middle of two trucks.

Her feet finally failed her as she fell to the ground, looking back she saw the two vehicles in flames already as she gasped for air.

She looked at her skin but there was no scratch and she knelt down to say thank you to her God. She was so happy as she remembered how it happened.

Shina wanted to cross the road when two trucks reversed with full speed trying to overtake the other, seeking for who would be the first to hit the road.

Shina was stuck in the middle of the road because that's where she was supposed to stand to cross to the other side.

She stood there watching their struggles and the next thing she remembered was that they had clashed so terribly with her in the middle and now she was here breathing without a scratch.

She wondered how that could be as she saw firemen trying to put off the fire, so she decided to go closer and look at those that had been victims of the fatal accident.

There were three cars badly damaged and three people were dead as their bodies were split and crushed. Such an accident was too fatal for anyone to survive it but shina was still happy she survived it even though she was hit.

She went over to where the bodies were being dragged and saw people screaming and wailing, saying all manner of things about the girl who wanted to cross the road. The corpse was finally dragged out and it was a replica of shina.

She looked at herself and then at the body on the ground confused about what was happening, she decided to approach someone. "Hey don't cry, I'm alive see I'm here" too bad she couldn't be heard but rather people walked in and out of her.

Shina screamed as tears ran down her cheeks, "Can somebody hear me? Can somebody just say I'm not dead, I've got a kid to take care of, I'm a mother and my child is just a year old" but she wasn't heard as her body was taken into the ambulance.

Shina was devastated as she wished for a second death but then she remembered her child, her one year old and she decided to go to her house.

She found her husband nursing the child with the milk she left for him. The child giggled as she saw her mother and stretched her hands to be carried but shina couldn't carry the child.

The baby cried profusely as the dad did his best to make her stop crying but to no avail, there and then She knew she was really dead and so she decided to leave so the baby could stop crying but she promised to always check on her child.
