Parents are to be adored, not beaten!

It's a beautiful day again to be awesome and so I've come with another news which saddens my heart and actually gave me a sleepless night.

My school is on vacation and so I've been home frequently for some days now. I was so bored that I had to take the walk I took yesterday and on my return, the unexpected had happened.

There was a fight between my mom and brother. I know that normally children argue with parents to an extent but I don't think it should get to the extent where the child has to raise his or hands to hit the parent for any reason.

Any child who behaves in that manner is extremely wild and to me should be locked up for the meantime till he or she realizes how to treat parents.

It all started where my mom complained of my brother who is just in his late teens about breaking her big mirror. The mirror was a very expensive one and she adores the mirror so much because it could reveal how she looked from head to toe whenever she dressed up.

My brother broke the mirror. According to him it was a mistake but parents being parents, she complained and of course his anger rose more than hers and he talked back at her causing my mom to spank him.

The moment she did this, he raged out and threw a blow at her face which made her cry to his detriment.

I'm saying to his detriment because he has actually picked a curse with his own hands. This is a woman that carried him for nine months in her stomach, she bore all the pains just to bring him to this world but he stood still to throw a hard blow at her after breaking her mirror.

When my mom was about to give birth to this particular child she almost lost her life and now he's the one hitting her with blows instead of protecting her.

He made her remember all she's gone through for him but as stupid as he is, he just left the house without apologizing.

I had to console my mother, she's really sad and still in shock that her child could behave the way he did.

We were still trying to settle this mother and son issue before my mom made a statement quoting from the Holy Bible

honor your father and mother that your days may be long.

Where it says your days may be long made me cry because he just Dishonored his mother even if she didn't open her mouth to curse him, there's something like karma.
