Paradise: just at your fingertips.
The Merriam Webster dictionary gives three meaning to the word Paradise which all resort to a thing of pleasure but specifically for the case of this article I'll use the third one which says:
A state of complete happiness.
This sounds appealing. Have you ever thought of what gives you joy or should I say what you love doing that makes you happy?
First, we should all know that we are our Paradise and it begins with you. That's why I say paradise is at your fingertips. Without "you", Paradise doesn't exist in itself, something has to be involved.
We do go about everyday and we get to see amazing things along the way like beautiful gardens, nice restaurants where you just make your favorite order, go swimming, watch the sun set and rise and many more.
All these things I've listed so far exist for your pleasure. Without you, pleasure would make no sense, gardens or prolly trees, different flowers wouldn't exist neither would anyone bother to plant them for fancy.
Second, if you aren't happy with yourself you really won't care about what's going on around you, so paradise begins from you! Yes you! Reading this now.
The joy of waking up every morning to find your family in good shape and condition is paradise.
Do what you love, love yourself even more because until you get a hold of paradise within you, you can't spread the paradise to the reach of another person.
So many love outdoor games, it's fun! But to do outdoor games, "you" are needed. The animals or machines won't work on their own, the flowers wouldn't look beautiful on their own if you don't water them so your little help is needed.
Watching all these amazing things which in one way or the other make you smile is paradise at your fingertip. If you plant a tree and then it doesn't grow, definitely you'll be disappointed but then if it blooms and sprouts you'll feel fulfilled. Just having a glimpse of it could keep you smiling for the rest of the day.
Just like our gardeners share with us everyday here on hive, they share what makes them happy which is their plants blooming which all depended on their efforts. You make efforts to enjoy it's benefits later on and those benefits are paradise because you'll be happy.
Paradise is you being happy. So why not take a moment and just smile because "you" make it happen. Without "you" paradise doesn't and cannot exist in itself. Take a hold of it and stay happy.

I'm my own paradise and you are your own paradise, and then if you combine your paradise with my paradise, I'm wondering what we'll get??

I just want to add one more thing to "do what you love".
Remember to "do what you love" and GET PAID FOR IT!!
Paradise is still paradise as long as there is love but it is a lot more bearable to live in paradise when we are healthy and have something to eat.
Here's a little story.
One day a friend was staying at a 5 star hotel in the summer nearby. In Seoul that is a very pricy room. He wasn't using the pool so gave me and my two boys pool passes to the best pool in the city. It wasn't a pool you could just pay for or buy a pool pass. You had to be a guest of the hotel and we had that privilege. We sat in deck chairs well above the city looking like kings in the sun. Around us were some of the finest bodies in Korea included a few celebrities. My kids weren't interested in that. They were interested in the water slide and the array of pools to play in. They had never seen anything like it.
It really was like paradise for a few minutes. This place being so close to home that it made us wonder why we had never come here before. A couple hours later we realized why we had not been to this paradise earlier. My kids were thirsty and asking for something to drink. A cabana boy came up and showed us the menu. We could get a water for 12 dollars or a cup of milk for 15 dollars. We decided to go with the milk. A couple hours later the kids were hungry. Again the cabana boy came up with the menu. We could go with a BLT for 20 dollars or a hamburger for 25 dollars. We decided to go with a taxi and leave paradise.
