Just a wish!
I saw a shooting star last night and thankfully I was outside sitting in the sand enjoying the cool breeze when it sped past me and immediately I remembered all the books I've read, fantasy movies, and animations I've watched so far where when a shooting star is seen, a wish is always made so I had just one wish to make.
I made a wish and though it's a little weird, I said what I said. My wish was to time travel to my future. Weird right? I know! I think the movies I watch are getting into my head.
I wished to meet my future self to see what I must have or will have achieved in the next ten years. I wanna know if I'll be filthy rich because I really have to be, I can't doubt my ability on this one, I'm working hard to make that happen. It's one day at a time but I know I'm getting there.
I also want to know if there'll be any mistakes ahead so I don't make the same mistake when I finally time travel back to the present and take the process slow. Funny but it's my most valued wish.
Mistakes are inevitable in life's long race but at least the crucial ones which could ruin a person's life could be checked and prolly prevented.
I also hope to see the future me looking like a big time boss lady with a long tummy like Rihanna and taking some cool shots whenever the camera is turned to me. Hahaha, I'm losing my mind now and I know it.
My mom has told me to stop watching sci-fi and fantasy movies but I can't help it because I'm really into them. They heal me of boredom and make me think extraordinarily.
I don't know if time traveling is real but the movies make it seem like a technology that exists somewhere but hasn't been launched.
Don't you think it will be so cool to have such technology put in place? Till then, I have to face the present and build what I have to build to become that wish I made when I saw the shooting star.
Maybe I may someday wake up from sleep to meet that future me standing by my bedside and grinning widely saying; "are you ready to go for the ride of your life" and I'll be like "of course, of course." 🤣
Let's see if my crazy wish becomes a reality. I think I'll be the first to win the Guiness World Book of record for time traveling because of a wish I made after seeing a shooting star. Hehehe 😎 I'm a big dreamer.

in some ways or the other, we all want to be rich, or say financially independent or living comfortably... I do hope you get your wish fulfilled and its true mistakes are inevitable... now matter how much we keep ourselves from hurting, "not hurting" is also painful, it's like a phantom wound... time traveling may not be real or maybe it is but it ruins all the surprises
