It's over!!!

Brenda had always been a hard nut that couldn't be broken by anyone, not even John, her husband.

She loved her husband but got furious anytime he came up with a mild decision which she saw as a command and as a hard type, she never wanted to listen. She wanted things done her way and not his way forgetting he was the man no matter what.

She'd always fight, talk back and even shout at John and later on he'd still be at her mercy. All these happened even when they were dating but John never saw it as anything but always allowed his love to conquer.

She grew worse into their marriage, always threatening to get a divorce every now and then, having John weep and beg. He loved her so much and didn't want to let her go.

She was everything he needed, but at least he also wanted to be heard, he needed love, apology and utmost respect too. She gave those only on rare occasions and he enjoyed every moment she wasn't angry at something and wished it could last forever.

One day, John got home from work real late due to a traffic jam, and was really tired and hungry. He checked the kitchen for his food but there was none and so he made what he could and ate it as he didn't want to disturb his wife in case she was asleep.

After eating, he went to his room to meet an angry Brenda, who started yelling on top of her voice accusing him of being with another woman.

John tried calming Brenda, he tried explaining to her but Brenda didn't want to listen to anything he had to say. John got weak, tired of talking, he dropped his bag and slumped on the bed to get some sleep.

Brenda kept shouting and making the atmosphere uneasy for John, she went ahead to threaten him again this time waiting for him to plead with her but it was on the contrary.

John got pissed, and the only thing he could say was "it's over"!. The moment Brenda heard that, she stopped talking immediately and meditated on those words.

John has never said that to her, ever, she was scared but still thought it was a joke and wanted to talk more, John made it clear to her, he had endured her frequent nagging, he thought she would change, he thought she would understand his mind language but she was actually a real hard nutshell and he was tired.

The next morning John moved out of the house for Brenda to stay alone and sent her divorce papers which she has refused to sign till this day.
