Her ambition!

Tiana stood by her window looking outside as she wished for things to change in her life. Hot tears rolled down her cheeks as tried to clean them up with the back of her palms.

Her mates were all in college but her dad wouldn't send her to one no matter how brilliant she was. She yearned to attend college so badly but her dad stood as an obstacle.

He had vowed Never to sponsor her all in the name of he didn't have the money plus she wasn't good at school work. Tiana took it up as her responsibility to sponsor herself in school and so she sought a job to get her enough money to buy the school's entrance form.

She worked hard and had to battle two jobs at the same time to be able to get the amount she needed quickly. Whenever she was at work, she never smiled or spoke to anyone because of her grief.

One day she decided to check her savings and behold she found out that all her money had gone and when she asked for it, her dad shamelessly told her he took it to get food and drugs for his girlfriend.

Tiana didn't know how to start crying, sleep left her eyes as her heart was so heavy, she was losing her mind, she was almost going crazy, "why would he do this to me why? Mom why did you die, why did you leave me mom? Why"? She muttered those words as hot tears flowed freely from her already swollen eyes.

The next day she got up early and went about her usual business. She had the thought of not keeping her money in the house anymore but she'd rather get a savings account with the bank.

She got to work on time and started cleaning the place when a customer walked in. He placed his order and she attended to him with an emotionless face.

When she got him his order, she turned to leave but he held her by the hand, "Tiana", she was surprised to hear him call her name.

"I know you're going through a lot but always try to smile, you're a very beautiful girl and I've always noticed you when I come around here,you wear this gloom all over you always what's the problem"?

Tiana broke down in tears unable to speak, how would she share her problems with a total stranger. "Please don't cry Tiana I totally understand if you can't talk to me now but I'll be back in the evening at the close of work I'll like to drive you home maybe then you'll tell me what's wrong with you ok"!

Tiana was dumbstruck as all she could do was nod her head in agreement. At the close of work, Tiana saw a Lexus 360 parked outside the store. It had a tinted glass making her unable to see the driver so she decided to walk pass.

Hey Tiana it's me come over, the man called out from the car and Tiana walked over and got in. "Before I say anything, may I know your name?" Tiana asked politely, causing the man to raise his eyebrows. "My bad", he smiled revealing his perfect set of dentition "I'm Frederick you'll get to know me better if you stick around but for now it's your turn to speak.

She narrated her plight and ambition to go to college. The man felt her pain and all he could say was I'll help you Tiana, I really love your personality and ambition. I'll help you. He gave her one of his debit cards with the pin and his house address. He asked her to use the card to pay all the bills she wanted and if she needed help she should get to him.

She felt hypnotized, she didn't know if she should cry or laugh as she hugged him and tears of joy ran down her cheeks, he looked at her in the face and used his fingers to wipe the tears away.

They finally got to her place and she got out of the car and waved him goodbye. "She's so beautiful," he said as he drove off.
