Face reality; leave the media out of it
I stopped listening or watching anything that has to do with news because last time I checked I almost got a heart attack!
Reality often differs from what the media likes to present to us as standard. Making your own research of things and finding out the real truth is way better than killing your inner man with news from the media.
Those set of people nowadays seem like they've been programmed to polish stories or events making it look real than it really is at times instilling fear in the minds of people.
Yeah! I know it's their career and means of making money but the exaggeration is too much.
All these became eerie at the outbreak of the coronavirus. Here in my country it was like they had been waiting for a time like it to explore. They gave us numbers every single day. The numbers given a day increased by 50% the next day. If there were to be an approximate of two persons with the disease in a particular area, the media would call it ten. We all know that it's a norm that people die every day whether we like it or not it's reality and we have to live with it but since the outbreak of covid, any human who just leaves this world, the media presented it to us that the person died if covid plus they would go miles to keeping the family of the bereaved in isolation. At this time I saw that they got a blurred memory, unable to think properly that it was normal to have deaths everyday.
I witnessed an accident some time back very close to my school where two lives were lost due to the clash of cars. A TV station had sent crews to film the accident and a documentary was filed.
It happened that during one of their broadcasts, they put that up and guess what? They had increased the number of deaths to eight! I was shocked! If I didn't witness the whole scenario I wouldn't have known, I would have just sat back recollecting such a huge number and feeling super horrible. Just a life to be lost is painful but why should they lie about everything?
Whenever my Grammy watches such, she exclaims terribly as if she's almost dying and all I do is just turn off the TV.
Ever since my last experience with the media, I really don't give listening ears to whatever they got to say. I'd rather witness it with my eyes or love to watch live stories, not sit back and listen to a cooked up story which is being presented as reality.

People like breaking news, shocking news and terrifying news. The media feeds their curiosity.
They do anything that would bring them money.
There is breaking news on our TV 24x7 . LOL How is that even possible?
If no one watches this business would shut shop and go.. but we need our dose of shocks for the day.
