A painful exit!!!

It's been fun since the month of December came with each and everyone anticipating Christmas and the fun that comes with it.

It's always a thing of joy to have all members of the family celebrate Christmas together in happiness but this morning I woke up to sad news about the loss of a family member.

Death snatched my cousin this morning with it's cold and wicked hands. He was just a year plus. His mother had really wanted a baby boy and finally God gave her one and now he's gone to the cold hands of death.

He was actually born in December and his birthday was to be the day before Christmas but death being so cruel snatched him in the wee hours of the morning.

My aunt had bought him beautiful Christmas clothes and amazing toys, decorated the house for Christmas and of course for his birthday but now he's gone. His cake had already been placed on order which was a very expensive one and was to be delivered on his birthday, that's the 24th.

The worst part of this whole situation is that he didn't show any signs of sickness throughout the night, he was totally fine and all bubbly till this morning when his mom found him stiffened up in bed.

My aunt has been crying uncontrollably, she's so sad that I do not know if she'll ever get over this shock. She's not willing to bury the child but wants to keep him and still celebrate his birthday even though he's dead.

She's still unable to believe a child could just pass out without anything going wrong with him. It's gonna be a gloomy Christmas for the entire family as it is a shock to me too.

I've been unable to get over the situation, my cousin was a really smart and cute kid and now death in its wickedness has taken him away at such a time as this.

The memories are gonna hunt her so bad every Christmas because she'll always remember she lost a very vital part of her. Her only son! It's too sad to even think about it.
