Takhmi Balinga, also known as Takhm Malinga in common parlance, is a much neglected natural boon in Pakistan which is rich in medicinal benefits as it is a treasure of health.

Only when making sharbat and phaluda do you think of the Malinga seed, but throughout history this seed has also been used as currency. Aztec soldiers used to eat it before the battle because it is full of energy. That's why Tchmu Malinga is also called the runner's food.

28 grams of malinga seeds have 137 calories, 12 grams of carbohydrates, four and a half grams of fat, ten and a half grams of fiber, zero and six milligrams of manganese, 265 milligrams of phosphorus, 177 milligrams of calcium, in addition to vitamins, minerals, niacin, iodine and Thiamine is present. Apart from this, several types of antioxidants are also found in malinga seeds.

Research on malinga seeds in Mexico has shown that it contains twice the amount of natural phenolics (antioxidants) and inhibits the formation of free radicals in the body. Thus, on one hand it is very beneficial for the skin and on the other hand it also prevents aging.

Useful for digestion

Owing to its high fiber content, sama malinga is very good for digestion. Flaxseeds and seeds maintain insulin in the blood and also control cholesterol and blood pressure. Clinical research has shown that fiber absorbs water to induce a feeling of fullness and is extremely beneficial for weight loss. Its use increases the amount of beneficial bacteria for the stomach.

#'Keep the heart healthy

Cumin reduces cholesterol, normalizes blood pressure and is very beneficial for the heart. Its regular use prevents the narrowing of blood vessels and makes them flexible. It is an important heart protective seed because of its omega-3 fatty acids.

Useful in diabetes

Because of the alpha-linoleic acid and fiber in the seeds, it does not build up fat in the blood and does not cause insulin resistance. These are the two main factors that lead to diabetes. That is why regular consumption of malinga seeds is very helpful in preventing diabetes.
