Weird cake/Gâteau bizzare
Strange shape for this traditional cake in the photo; surely you won't find it beautiful, and I don't think anyone on this platform can recognize this traditional cake from our region, except for one person who can identify it.
It's a very, very sweet cake made with semolina and honey. It is mainly consumed during the fasting month, accompanied by a cup of mint tea. It's a delight.
It is enjoyed after a hearty meal in the evening. I bought it today because I went to visit an old friend, and I found in the neighborhood where she lives a traditional pastry shop that sells many cakes from our heritage.
At the sight of the cake in the photo, I didn't hesitate to buy a kilo. Yes, it is sold by weight. You will tell me that it's a lot, but I won't eat it all alone; the children will eat it with me.
Of course, I took another kilo for my friend. Hahaha, you will tell me to be careful with blood sugar. I know, an occasional indulgence, I think it's not a big deal. And I will accompany it with a cup of bitter tea to balance the blood sugar level. Clever, isn't it?

Fome étrange pour ce gâteau traditionnel qui est sur la photo,sûrement vous n'allez pas le trouver beau, et je pense que personne sur cette plateforme ne peut reconnaître ce gâteau traditionnel bien de chez nous, sauf une seule personne qui pourra l'dentifier .
C'est un gâteau très, très sucré fait à base de semoule et de miel. Il est surtout consommé pendant le mois de jeûne, accompagné d'une tasse de thé à la menthe. C'est un délice.
On le déguste après un repas bien copieux dans la soirée. Je l'ai acheté aujourd'hui parce que je suis partie rendre visite à une ancienne amie et j'ai trouvé dans le quartier où elle habite une pâtisserie traditionnelle qui vend plein de gâteaux de notre patrimoine.
À la vue du gâteau sur la photo, je n'ai pas hésité à acheter un kilo. Oui, il se vend au poids. Vous allez me dire que c'est beaucoup, mais je ne vais pas le manger toute seule, les enfants vont en manger avec moi.
Bien sûr, j'ai pris un autre kilo pour mon amie. Hahaha, vous allez me dire de faire attention à la glycémie. Je sais, une petite folie de temps à autre, je pense que ce n'est pas grave. Et je vais l'accompagner d'une tasse de thé amer pour équilibrer le taux de sucre dans le sang. C'est astucieux, n'est-ce pas?
