Hive Engines Work Arounds (In Progress)

🪙 PEAKECOIN OPS UPDATE — HIVE ENGINE DDOS & NEXT STEPS

It looks like Hive Engine has been under a DDOS attack, and that’s been the reason
some of our bots haven’t been functioning correctly.
While the front end might seem like it’s still up and running, the backend layer —
the part that actually processes trades and balances — has been the one taking hits.
I’ve been watching it closely and reading through the Discord announcements,
and it’s clear a lot of people are frustrated. That’s understandable.
But there’s always a way — it’s just rarely the easy way.
For now, I’m focusing on making sure no one loses any funds because of this.
If the attack clears up by tomorrow, I’ll start implementing a canceling script
so users can safely recall open orders if the system lags or stalls.
Even if Hive Engine’s front end or RPC endpoints are down, that doesn’t mean
we’re locked out of the 2nd layer entirely. There are still methods we can
use to interact directly — they just take a little more work and creativity.
The MATIC USDT swap (SWAP.USDT → USDT on Polygon) isn’t currently running
because no one has requested to be whitelisted yet.
That bridge is still standing by and fully functional once requests come in.
Over the next few days, I’m going to focus on resilience — making sure that
if Hive Engine gets attacked again, we’ll still have ways to keep access to funds,
execute swaps, and cancel orders without relying entirely on the usual nodes.

I’m working through it, and I promise — we’ll find a way to keep PeakeCoin
and your assets moving safely, no matter what happens to the Engine.
