The mission of the digital diet almost failed today. The first thing I saw outside today was a sunset. Realizing that, I tried to catch it in an unusual place. And I promised myself that I would try it again by finding an even more interesting place with the help of a location map.

The digital world seems to work better than we even realize. Or so I hoped. The addiction comes so quickly and deeply that sometimes it even comes to the point of absurdity. Although, if you think about it, it is quite possible to live a full life without phones and computers. That is, if they are gone, we will still continue to exist.

Perhaps even better than now.

The question is debatable, of course, but it does give me something to think about.

The culprit of my failure today was the television series The Last of Us. It was the one time I couldn't bring myself to turn it off. That's where people learned to live without digital devices for 20 years, and nature showed its true power. And even then it is clear that it is not nature that is the enemy of man. But man himself...

After each failure, one should draw conclusions and plan what not to do next time. Well, for starters, I won't start the day with my phone or anything that involves entertainment content. The perfect start to the day is a morning walk. Even if it's just for five minutes. But no unnecessary objects in my hands or ears). Just nature.

Also, a clear plan for the day to move along, not putting it off until later. As I love, know how, and practice. 😂

I will continue to play the game in the numbers of my achievements on Hive. Below is a table of my daily accumulation of Hive, HP, and layer 2 tokens:

I like to watch the Hive graphics from time to time, exactly on hivedex.io

Theoretically, even within a day, you can get a better price than just a three-day HBD conversion. Which is what I do now all the time. That is, I never convert HBD. I wait for a good price during the day and buy. By my calculations, I gain at least a few percent.

And it's quick.

Psychologically, it's easy for me to buy Hive. However, selling it is scary. There is a feeling that I might not have time to buy it back if the price goes up sharply. If I want to trade, I need to work through these fears and accept the risks).

you are right about entertainment. I'm drawn to them as well. It's a form of escape for me. Sometimes, I just want to be lost in an imaginary world :P thanks for the tip on the use of hivedex.io. I usually just use the 3-day conversion on peakd as that's simpler for me. I'm not converting huge amounts anyway, so I thought the difference wouldn't be substantial. I do wish $Hive would go higher than its current value right now. An advance happy weekend...

Gorgeous photo Alexandr! In the present version of my life I rarely indulge in entertainment, as time is at such a premium that I'm always doing my best to get so much done in short periods of time. I think I still need a better balance between the digital and the natural. Hive gets so much of my focus, which is not bad, but more balance is needed for sure. The funny thing is that when I waste time, I get really worried about it and feel bad about it. And when I feel bad about it, I waste time again, and it's kind of a vicious cycle. That's why Hive helps me, I can't lie to myself in the post. So I quickly pull myself out of that quagmire and move on)

Yep, I figured! Hive helps me keep focused regarding my time, which is very useful indeed, as I can get distracted pretty easily. I do my best to just stay on task and get everything I need to do done. That works some days better than others! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
