That's the only way. All in! Hive savings. My Actifit Report Card: May 8 2023

This walk was about a month ago. It was drizzling rain almost constantly. The water had just come off the banks. There hadn't been a flood like that in about 10 years, as I found out afterward. I've never seen so much water in my life. The embankment. Floating trash cans and streetlights knee-deep in water where people usually walk. At the very least, it's always interesting, unless you live in those neighborhoods where the yard is a river. And we have some, though not many really.

I've heard stories of people catching fish right out the window of their house or floating out on a boat into their vegetable garden. Although we have a terrain without sharp drops, but there are some lowlands, where the water floods the streets of private houses. Plus our swamps and a bunch of lakes that always keep water in the ground. In fact, that's why plants grow on our sand anyway. A blessing of the land in a way, since people can always grow and eat what has grown.

It's not all bad...

The photo is of the upper embankment. A pedestrian promenade. There is another one, for the approach of steamboats, which is 3 - 4 meters lower, and maybe more. Well, and as you have guessed, it is not there even now, when the water has already descended. I once posted a photo of the lower embankment, which I like to stroll along when I'm here. It's a weird place, but I love weird places.

I'd always prefer time-beaten walls with faded paint to a newer, polished structure.

The stories and history of the unknown. There's room for thought and imagination...

There is a lighthouse in one of the pictures I wrote about a while ago. And of course it's in the water too. Lanterns growing out of the water. A beacon of the fact that it is not worth defeating nature today. The result is always obvious. But there are always beneficiaries of these stupid decisions.

Just because we don't get it doesn't mean it was someone else's bad plan.

Not for them...

All I ask now is the strength to change what I can change. And also the strength to change what is beyond my strength and my life.

That's the only way it will work.

It's funny that I missed translating this part of the post yesterday and no one wrote to me about it. But every mistake is an experience. It turns out that there is a separate community that gathers people in Hive by language and reminds them of their language tags. That's how I found another Russian-speaking person today).

Hive 37 cents today. Who hasn't had a chance to stock up before the bull market yet? Welcome! I, among others, will be buying as much as I can. If we repeat the $3, it will be 10 X's.
