Words. A set of sounds in random order.

The meaning means nothing. Only our relationship to those sounds or the facial expressions of the person saying them. But reptilian functions and thousands of years of evolution take their toll.

Our progress scores another curveball, and it flies with even greater speed into our foreheads. This sword is mutually sharp. Even a compliment to the wrong person becomes a stab in the back one day.

And then words mean more than they should.

We've given many things names. And we keep doing it, but it only gets worse. Instead of growing understanding, feeling and communication, indifference, incomprehension and detachment grows.

If I don't understand what you're saying, what's the point?

Catch up.

But why? For the sake of whom? For what? To be farther and farther away from yourself...

It seems that the top of this world is playing a game of inventing new words or giving new meaning to old words. The road is not there.

More like a road to nowhere...

To me, any flower is a flower. Red or yellow. Green, big, beautiful, smells, blooms. I'm a rude bastard. But a flower carries more messages than its name. If it's a beloved woman's favorite plant, it's love. If it grows through concrete, it's steel. If it's in the desert, it's life. No matter what.

There are simple words. There are simple thoughts. And there are always simple meanings.

And I really don't know what this flower is called...

I've always liked the Native American approach. In a couple of hundred words, you can describe the whole world, including your feelings and your devotion. And it always sounds brilliant, huh? All geniuses are simple...

An iPhone with one button and now no buttons.

All round objects.

All hugs.

And all simple words...

Children who know four or five words can solve all problems until adults intervene. Give, take, go, look, try.

Notice how well they understand each other?

As opposed to the thousands of politicians who operate with millions of terms, strategies, approaches and tactics. A secret strategy against those they serve and who elected them... There are some simple answers to the question. Yes and no. Everything in between falls, just as shells are now falling on this supposedly immortal earth.

It's not all that unambiguous...

It's been pretty unambiguous for a long time, if you go back to the origins. There are a few words, as there are a few feelings. Everything in between is just another set of sounds. Where wind has more meaning than all of that.

Love how your words flow. Come to think about it, words are simple but sometimes most times, we complicate them (I'm guilty of that, lol!)

Your savings are growing, congrats! I like DHEDGE too but have not been buying. Guess it's time to add a bit to my very little stacks.

For any word to exist and to be understood, the silence between the words is equally as important as the sounds themselves. Human language and languages have always fascinated me, even though it's a very primitive way to communicate. I find myself often at a loss for words. It's not that I don't have anything to say, rather than that I have so much to express, and in so much wholeness, that the tiny, fragmented, childblock words I must use are quite inadequate. I still do my best, though. Words and language are weaponized and used against people too, and usually without them seen, knowing, or understanding it. Languages are habitual ways of thinking and seeing the world, that's why it's good to play in many linguistic ponds. Our view of the world becomes more full, more whole.

I'm about DHEDGE! I've got to buy more myself! My HP delegation brings in a nice bit every day, but I need go speed it up a bit more! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
