RE: Sixers lose fourth straight game vs Pelicans | They're in Minnesota tonight to face T-Wolves

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

he Pelicans are one of the worst teams in basketball

I don't normally pay much attention to NBA until a lot later in the season but I was under the impression that this was the case for New Orleans. Is it a really bad sign for the Sixers to be losing like this to what is considered a "terrible" team? Also, what was the name of that Duke player the Pelicans put so much into and he just got fat and lazy and never became a force?

Yeah I'd consider it a bad sign but, it's the NBA and I suppose these things happen. I am/was mostly concerned considering this loss to the Pelicans was during a losing streak. But the Sixers shocked me yesterday and bounced back which was cool.
Zion Williamson is who you're talking about and I suppose he's been healthier this season but yeah he's been a major bust so far. It's crazy how time flies, he's already been in the league for seven years. He's never played a playoff game and has played in about 47% of possible regular season games in that span of time.
