Day trekking! 😎
First things first, Silvertop needed to check a few chores off his to do list………
Then Liz grabbed her hiking poles and we headed up to the Gold Mine trail!😊
I knew the Mrs had stowaways….. but I wasn’t sure exactly “who” was joining us for today’s hike!😇

The trail was busy today…………
We passed several families out enjoying the cool breezy day.
The Mrs was shooting a video of Hayden creek, when a guy in full camo, with a heavy “ Bug Out Bag”, came jogging down the trail………
It was obvious he was on survival training………..
These Mountains are perfect for that sort of training, if you are into that.😇
He spotted Liz shooting the video, and politely stopped till she was finished!😊

Today we hit a scorching high of 70 degrees Fahrenheit with sunshine!😎
@drlobes it looks like Silvertop won’t be needing the A/C just yet Lol!😇☺️

It looks like the video uploading thingy works, for me and for you as well on today's posts. Maybe you skipped a step yesterday. What I found out today is that after uploading the video, you have to wait for it to be fully encoded before adding it to the post.

Strange that it worked on my post, but not on Liz’s post. She uploaded exactly the same as mine and it stated it was 100% encoded. It froze on both of our uploads at first, then we both reloaded and mine worked, and hers didn’t 🙄
I'll try again tomorrow, I've no video ready for today. Maybe make sure you can play the video in Actifit after encoding but before adding it to the post, I'll pay attention to this.
This is definitely a learning curve…..

Yes, you are correct, we are on the coast above California, I can almost see the Canadian border from our house😊
that explains pepe's behavior. i'm not sure but orcas are frequent in those area. take hold of pepe not to go too far
