Early Summer is a busy time for Silvertop!😅
So when Liz told me that the Eye Doctor that she works for, was having a Fir tree taken down, I told her that I believe the 24 cords of firewood that we already have, is more than enough Lol!😇
This past Winter was mostly wet……..
Take a look at the fourth photo……….
The empty spot on the right was only “halfway” filled at the beginning of last Winter!
This is all we used all year, approximately 1 to 1 1/2 Cords of wood.
Our mini split heat pump sat silent all Winter…………..Except for when “Alexa” that runs our “Smart” house became not so smart!🤣
“Alexa” Turn on “North Lights”!😊
“Alexa” why did you turn on the Heat pump?”🤔
“Silvertop, I don’t see any problem, I only turned on the North Lights”!
Hmmm……… I do believe Alexa is becoming a bit senile Lol!😇
Silvertop’s day plays out like this………..
Get up early, just before Liz has to get ready for work, start a Latte, and spend the next two hours doing house chores!😅
Switch gears, go out to my firewood “Mountain” and stack at least three heaping wheelbarrow loads of wood!
Come back in ….and today Silvertop worked on spacing out three electric outlets, so they will be “Flush” with the new tongue and groove spruce siding!☺️
These spaces are quite ingenious! They can be purchased in different thicknesses and stacked to bring your outlet flush to whatever thickness of material you’re adding to your wall! 😇
That’s when Liz texted Silvertop…………..
“Silvertop, are you sure you don’t want this firewood, it’s Fir, and it’s all cut up in rounds!”🥰
I was outside stacking “Round two” of firewood when the Mrs texted……….
I paused……and stared at the firewood I was stacking!😮
I stared at the Mountain of split firewood just behind me………….
“”OK Liz, tell the Doctor I will be down tomorrow morning early for the wood!”☺️
Guys, this would be like refusing free precious metal, or someone giving away free Bitcoin and telling them no thanks Lol!😇
Firewood like everything else will only get more expensive with inflation!🤔
Ohhh Silvertop almost forgot………….
“Cot, you keep stacking firewood, Dad’s taking a much deserved break and hiking to the Ridge Top!”🤗😻
