This morning at Church, our Pastor was saying that the weather is so beautiful, everyone needs to find some time to just sit, relax, and be still, outside!😇
He went on to talk about how everything in this extremely fast paced world is about instant gratification!😮
So very true my friends…………….
We order something on Amazon, and we want it yesterday Lol!😇
Amazon’s suppliers are pushed harder to supply products faster, warehouse workers, are required to work even harder, and the rat race continues on and on!🙄
Don’t get Silvertop wrong….. sometimes a little bit faster is much appreciated Lol!☺️
Silvertop grew up in and age where you would “Mail Order” anything special that you couldn’t pick up at the local store!😇
As a teenager, Silvertop Mail Ordered his very first Gold coin, a Mexican Five Peso!🤗
Two and a half months later…….. yes you heard that correctly, I opened a small brown envelope and held this Gold coin in my hands, feeling like I was the richest kid in the world!🤗
Can you imagine ordering something on Amazon today, and it would arrive 2 1/2 months later!🙄
Hopefully you are among the lucky people that still have weekends off, so many people are working split shifts, or even second jobs just to pay the bills!😮
So today….. if you can, step outside and just do nothing for a bit!
I guarantee you will feel better!😇

I used to order all sorts of things in the mail as a kid, plants, seeds, books, among assorted other treasures, and I always loved finally receiving them after a long wait. Ridiculous to wait two and a half months to get your first gold coin. But such were the days of the snail mail. It's become so unpopular now that no one uses it other than the government. One of those remnants from the constitution that maybe should be considered for repeal, the postal service really is becoming a dinosaur...

Some deceleration is in order in this world. But so many people take breaks to boost their productivity. There is no real connection to slowing down, to breathing, to meditation. It's all just one more self-optimization to give it all. Pretty glad that you found your way out of that.
