No guys, we’re not talking about that guy with the wild look in his eyes, who is carrying an idling, razor sharp chainsaw…….😳😬
We’re counting “Tree Age Rings” today my friends!😇
“Liz, this Spruce tree really wasn’t that very old!”😮
“I wonder what killed it Silvertop?”🥰
Hmmm………………🤔

If you have a hard time seeing the snow in the third and fourth photos, Silvertop is also Lol!☺️
Today’s weather forecast, of one to two inches of snow, turned out to be “FUD”……Lol!😇

So Silvertop’s plans changed today…………..
I gassed up my chainsaw, changed out the cutting chain for a freshly sharpened chain, and headed up to my neighbor Will’s house to finish cutting his dead Spruce tree!😊
I only had four more, very large cuts to make, from the remaining trunk of this tree……… but they were the hardest!😮
Last Friday, I was cutting this tree with a cutting chain that was becoming dull fast…………….
When you start to see smaller wood chips, and wood dust, you definitely need to stop cutting!🙄
Today….. with no Snow, and no rain in sight, Silvertop pulled the starter rope on his chainsaw, and began cutting………………
The newly sharpened chain, cut like butter!
Silvertop stopped the chainsaw after each cut, and struggled uphill through mud and Blackberries, carrying each extremely heavy round to his truck!😅
Four rounds cut and loaded……..Silvertop looked around………………
I guess I am finally finished!☺️
“Liz, that’s it for firewood cutting for this year!”💪😅
“Uhhh…….. Silvertop, who gets to split all this wood now?”🥰
“Liz, did I ever tell you how relaxing it is splitting firewood…….. here I will show you how it’s done, you can give it a try Lol!”😇
