“Testing, Testing, Testing!”😊
“Ohhh….NO……what is that!”😳
After testing several locations on our rooftop, Silvertop decided to mount our new Starlink Internet dish above one of our Solar Arrays!☺️
I decided to check with GROK/ ARA to find out if my solar array would cause any interference with Starlink………
“Silvertop, Starlink operates on the KU- Band, with a radio frequency between 12 and 18 Gigahertz. Mountings your Starlink dish won’t cause any electromagnetic interference, just make sure it doesn’t block any light from your solar panels!”🤗

That was yesterday…………..
Today Silvertop started pulling the Starlink power cable!😇
The plan was to route the cable down the peak of our garage, then drill a 3/4 inch hole to allow the cable to pass through the outside garage wall.
Then this cable would follow the ridge beam in our attached garage’s attic, till it reached the main house wall!😊
Silvertop grabbed a tall ladder……………
That’s when I saw IT!!🙄
Firmly attached to the underside of my Solar panels, exactly where Silvertop would be standing on that tall ladder, was what you see in the third photo!
A good size Hornets nest !!!😳
Silvertop was frozen………..
This was the only “Easy” way to get the Starlink to our house!🙄
Against my better judgment, I grabbed my extension tree pruning saw!
I extended the tree pruner to the MAX twelve feet!
By now it was Noon, and the Hornets were very much awake!😮
The plan was to slice the Hornets nest in half, and “RUN LIKE HELL”! 😬😳
With a can of Hornet killer spray in one hand, the pruner in the other, Silvertop split the nest in half, and sprinted across the yard!😇
Guys this is NOT the correct way to get your Actifit steps Lol!🥵
I watched, and waited, till it appeared safe to approach the Hornets nest, with my long range Hornet killing spray!
I doused half a can on the nest, and used the tip of my tree pruning saw to pick it up, and relocate it far away from my garage!😇
“Silvertop I’m home, is Starlink up and running yet?”🥰
“Finally honey, you are not going to believe what I had to do, to pull the electric cable today Lol!😇
Don’t try this at home guys!🤣😇
Starlink is awesome!🤗
