Nothing like a hot humid day to have everyone looking for a cool shady hiking trail!😅
“Time to go Silvertop, I hot wire dis truck? We go soak in cool slow moving water!”🐸
Slow moving water, is a good way to describe the creek that flows through the Lynden City Park Lol!🙄
If you remember some of our hikes in the winter this stream becomes a torrent of very fast moving water that can sweep you off your feet!😳
Today it’s but a trickle!😇
“Silvertop…..did I hear correctly, is PEPE trying to hot wire that small truck?”🥰
“Let him have his fun Liz, he doesn’t realize it’s only a toy truck Lol!”🤣
This shady Park proved to be the perfect escape from today’s sweltering heat!🥵
The city had recently closed this trail for five days so they could re-black top, and fix tree roots that were heaving the trails!
“City folks Silbertop, we hike TALL Mountains not blacktopped wif stinky oily black rocks Lol!”🐸
“So very true my green friend!”😇
“Look out Liz!…………….another E-bike whizzed by the Mrs!😳
The Park trails are beautiful, but so many people are riding the trails with these electric bikes!🙄
Everyone (including Silvertop) is also glued to their phones, and now no one even walks or pedals a bike anymore!
“No one is getting ANY exercise Liz!” 🤔
“Silbertop, I climb dis tall “City Mountain” I get good exercise…….Man!”🐸
“Liz I think I’ll go join PEPE, I’ll see if I can beat him to the top!”🤗
“Kids ……Lol!”🥰
