My little green friend has been tugging on my shirt sleeve, wanting to know when we were heading back up to the Gold Mine Trail!😇
“ Silbertop, when we go back to Big Pond in trees Man? “🐸
“ PEPE, you might be disappointed, we haven’t had any rain in a while “……….
“ I not understand dis rain Silbertop…water come from pond Man, not sky! “🐸
Hmmm……….😇
After a full day of hard work around the house, the plan was to take PEPE up to Hayden creek, several miles uphill……What’s left of the creek this time of year, will probably make this little frog happy!

We stopped halfway up the trail, when I spotted something hanging from a tree………
Check out the fifth and sixth photo, I don’t have a clue what this is?🤔
I left it hanging, and continued uphill………….
We passed several people enjoying a hike in the forest, and then we saw two young guys hiking up a steep hill below us.
They were equipped with the latest lightweight titanium backpacks. Water bottles,sleeping bags, and rolled up tents, filled their backpack frames!😇
They had knee pads on, along with the latest climbing gear!😮
“ Hi…..you guys are really equipped, are you headed for the log cabin? “😊
“ No place in particular Silvertop, where ever we end up later on this evening will be camp! “👍
“ Silbertop, silly guys… no Big Pond is above Hayden Creek Lol! “🐸
“ I’ll let them know that my green friend, you just enjoy what’s left of Hayden’s Big Pond! “ 🤣
