Get ready, get set, go!🤗
This was Silvertop today……….
I was ready to hike!☺️
I think the one year old Deer standing next to my gravel pile in my driveway, was also ready to go as well!😇
Before hiking, I needed to finish the outside trim for two new windows I just recently installed.
I stepped outside my garage to find TWO one year old male Deer staring at Silvertop!😇

I imagine that these two are the babies from last year that have called Liz and Silvertop’s woods home!😇
I wonder how long these two male’s will stay together…….
I suspect that as they get older, they will go their separate ways.😮
They are safe in our slice of the forest,
the Mountains can be dangerous ……….
The Cougars also call these Mountains home. Late at night, lying in bed we have heard the shrill scream of a Cougar!😺
“ Silvertop, do we need to close our bedroom windows tonight! “😳
One of the eeriest times I can recall, was stepping out our patio door after dark, to put the cover on our hot tub………….
I saw glowing eyes, close by, in the forest!👀
They shuffled to the right, then the left, following Silvertop as I worked to place the hot tub cover on…..😮
“ Liz, I need a hike, but maybe we should close our bedroom windows tonight! “ 😳😸
