You can always spot a true “Northerner”…………….
They will be the ones out mowing their lawn in the rain, or hiking in the Mountains without a raincoat Lol!😇
By 2PM it was so dark, you would have thought it was twilight!😮
The sky opened up and dumped buckets of rain!
This went on for 45 minutes………..😅
Then it stopped, and blue skies appeared!😊
Silvertop spent the morning stacking firewood, and then shoveling, and placing, multiple full wheelbarrow loads of gravel for a storm drainage pipe.
“ Cot, I think I earned a good hike today, you watch the house, Dads going up to the “Gold Mine Trail! “ 😻
Silvertop figured he would be the only person hiking, the weather has been so hit or miss…………..
I had just climbed the first long hill, when I met a man coming back downhill.
“ Come on through Silvertop, I’m on the easy downhill hike! “😊
He was wearing running shorts, and a sleeveless shirt………
It was obvious that he had been caught in the downpour, he was soaking wet !😅
The beginning of this trail can be challenging during the rainy season.
You need to pick your path through extremely muddy sections!
In some muddy sections, people have placed boards for everyone to walk on, it’s so bad!😮
Do you hear that?????
No it’s not Bigfoot, I met three more hikers around the bend!😊
