NO Right Turn!😳
Or maybe Silvertop should say “ No Wrong Turn, or wrong steps! “ 😇
You could be Hiking with Silvertop high on a ridge top on your way to Canada, or down to the river like in the third and fourth photo’s!
Being active is what’s important!😊
Today the clouds started piling up on the western side of the cascade mountains…….
We have had almost a week of sunshine, I guess we are due for a little rain!😅
Over on Soaring Eagle trail, I spotted a baby Douglas Fir tree growing out from an old tree stump of the same tree species!
The forest is regenerating itself!😊
This morning Silvertop was doing the same!😇
I found one more baby tree nestled behind a telephone pole on my road that somehow had also escaped being mowed!🙄
This makes my fourth “Saved” tree!🤗
I have been trying to figure out what kind of tree this last one is…………
David my friend at the tiny house is a landscape gardener.
Upon close inspection, he said……….
“ Silvertop I believe this is a Noble Fir……….strange because they are not native to the forest! “ 🤔
I’m not really sure if this is a Noble Fir, and it doesn’t look like a Canadian hemlock………..
The one thing Silvertop can tell you is that this tree looks nice in the yard Lol! 🤗
“ Liz, I think we need to return to Soaring Eagle trail this weekend, and we can let @actifit/lamb come along………….
She can carry the shovel and bucket!😇
You never know where you might spot more baby trees! “ 😇
