Silvertop needed a new electric driveway gate opener. The one we have is having issues, and it’s pushing 15 years old!

This opener was way under sized, and during extreme cold weather, I’m sure it’s under powered as well!🙄
So Silvertop repackaged the gate opener, and headed to the UPS store in town to return this Amazon purchase.

Rain poured all night, and continued during the early morning hours………
I was surprised to see that the river was still at a low level!😮
High tide can make a significant difference. During low tide water flows much faster out to the Ocean.
A day or so of heavy rain and then a High Tide, can create the “Perfect Storm! “ for flooding!😳

Back home, daylight savings time gave Silvertop just enough time to hike to the trailhead……..
