Having the correct footwear when you are hiking is essential!😊
The same holds true for Silvertop when he is enjoying one of his passions………….
Electricity! 😇
The correct tools are very important!😊
Tomorrow afternoon I head back to the tiny house, to help my friend David pull more electrical circuits!😊
Today, I needed to fix one of my outdoor spotlights. During the last heavy snow, and frigid weather, one of my plastic spotlight receptacles broke!😮
Home Depot to the rescue………………..
I picked up a replacement for $2.99 and this one was anodized and painted metal!
“ This one won’t break Silvertop! “🥰
It was just barely 40° Fahrenheit outside!
Electrical work in cold weather is hard on your hands!🥶
Back in Colorado, where we regularly had lows of -22° below zero Fahrenheit, electrical work became seasonal. At best you hoped for inside work………🙄
Now days Silvertop can “Pick and choose” good weather………….
I’m hoping tomorrow up at the tiny house, is warm with no rain!😇
I “Buttoned” up the spotlight cover, and let Cot know Dad was going hiking!😻
If you look at the four photo, you can see very tall and majestic, Douglas fir trees.
Fast forward to the next couple of photos, and you can see young Doug Fir, adjacent to stumps from the old timber harvest.
Down in the valley below, a large field of Douglas Fir is growing quickly!😊
New life……. a future forest!
This section of the forest will forever be protected…………..
Keith and Lynne purchased this land with the clear intention of making it into a nature preserve for the county!😇
Generations will be able to hike these trails that Silvertop is standing on, and once again tall majestic Douglas Fir trees will stand lookout over the mountain!🤗
