Slowly this train stopped right in front of Silvertop.

I texted photos to our son Bill…….
He worked for the Railroad, he loves trains, and he has probably driven one of the three engines pulling this very long train.
Bill texted back……………
“ You have to be careful with that. They can consider you a threat to national security! The Yard bull will drag you out Dad! “ 🙄
“ No worries Bill, I was only halfway under the train Lol!” 😇
“ The tracks were warm enough to cook hotdogs on son!“🥰

That was the start of Silvertop’s and Liz’s hike down to the Ocean side park near the eclectic town of Fairhaven Washington.
Every parking spot was full!

The Mrs found a flyer inside the alaskan ferry terminal………
It turns out the town of Fairhaven, was having a “ Chocolate walk “.
Each participant would receive an empty bag, and a map, of 18 participating businesses that would hand out handmade special chocolate, for an admission ticket of $35 per person!😮
Hmmm………..🤔
Sounds like a modern day trick-or-treat where each adult has to pay $35 Lol!🤣
To each their own ……..
Silvertop just wanted to play “Trains”!😇
Liz finally convinced me to explore the Ocean front.
Not only was today a “ chocolate walk”, it was also a beautiful sunny day to walk along the Ocean!
“ Is it time to go already honey?” 🥰
I’m sure we will return soon………..

I heard the train long before it was imminent. I also knew that it could be on top of us before we realized it, hence my concern! I have to wonder if the engineer was worried about my proximity to his engine as I was only about 6-8' away!
The only 'bad' thought I had was as the cars, filled with 'unscented' LP gas was that if one of the cars jumped the tracks, well that might would be the end of me and quite a few others in the vicinity! Good thing that stretch of track is even and well maintained!
Also good “ that guy “ stepped away from the tracks!😳
I think I see the railroad “Bulls” coming now!😬
