As the year comes to a close!😊
“ Just look at the crowd of people Liz, I don’t think it’s even been this busy, this time of year!” 😮
We decided to check out New Year’s Eve at boulevard Park today…………..
I guess half of Bellingham had the same idea Lol!🤣
I pulled my raincoat out of my backpack, and slipped it on, it was colder than we expected at the Ocean front!🥶
We were hiking the boulevard trail, we were headed to the Bellingham cruise terminal.

This beautiful expansive building, is home to the Zodac tall sailing ship, and of course the Alaska Ferry!😊
Silvertop’s voice echoed off the tall ceiling. Only a handful of people were inside taking a break from the long hike along the bay.
The large crowds of people were outside enjoying the awesome day!😎
Of course, once again we missed the Alaskan ferry!🙄
You can see it’s home “slip” in the photo after the cruise terminals very tall Christmas tree!🤗
With the short Winter days, we never made it to the end of the trail …………….
After a stop at the Bellingham terminal, we checked our watch, and realized it was time to began the hike back……..
It was close to Sunset, when we stopped and Silvertop snapped this last photo…………..
The last rays of Sunlight for 2023, for the Continental United States, from the Pacific Northwest !😊
