What happened to the rain, it looks like the weatherman’s forecast was wrong Lol!😇
Silvertop quickly finished his morning chores, daylight was burning! 😎
It was time to take advantage of today’s sunshine……………..
It was time for a hike!🤗
I decided to head up to the “ Floor Trail”.
This is a steep hiking trail, that loops up to the backside of the “ High Trail “.
Then I descended back downhill, passing Tim’s off grid cabin, and then further on down to the trailhead at the top of Silvertop’s street!☺️
This hike pushes a bit over five miles, most of which is in deep forest !😀
Do you hear that?☺️
With the recent rainfall, and warmer temperatures, the streams on the Mountainside are all running fast!

Straight ahead, you are looking at the Floor Trailhead!☺️
Back up to the first photo, and you are looking at the steam plumes from BP British petroleum oil refinery.
That is where Liz and Silvertop’s oldest son works!

Snow is frosting the top of the mountains, and I can feel a definitive, change in the weather!🥶
That’s how we roll in the Pacific Northwest ……………..
Clear and cold with beautiful sunshine, or put on your waterproof jacket for what seems like forever Lol!😇
Standing at the ridge top by by Tim’s cabin, once again Silvertop was treated to a spectacular sunset!😀
So nice that the rain stopped………

Hello, I was just going to ask you about the smoke that was seen in the first photo. I know the company BP, it has shares on the stock market with dividends, although I don't know if it would be very nice to have it close to where you live. The place where you live is a dream, I love the borque, I don't know if it's at night but it's fabulous during the day!
I worry about my son working at BP …….
They are very safety conscious, but it is still a potentially a very dangerous place to work!🙄
The thing is that every living thing that is nearby breathes that smoke. In my town the problem is the silos that dry grains and the agrochemicals that are thrown into the fields, we breathe all that filth and then the rest falls to the ground and goes straight to the water tables, but what can we do...
That doesn’t sound good at all, hopefully someone has plans to fix that smoke!😇

Our son is on the emergency fire team as well as his regular duties in management at BP. He tells us they have not had an incident in a long time.😇
