A light at the end of the tunnel!🤗
Today the rain stopped…….. well sort of…..Lol!☺️
Two days of continuous downpours……….
Today was just a light misting rain!😅
The river has significantly dropped, that’s a good thing, especially with the Mrs. driving down to the valley for her work! 🥰
They actually put up permanent gates on one section of road that runs through the center of one of our valley towns!
I can’t even imagine the impact these gates will have on home values, or future commerce!🙄
You can get an idea of the flooding starting with the third “before” and then the after photos…….😮
Silvertop’s plan for today, was to head in the opposite direction………uphill!😀
I didn’t get very far, before Silvertop was hiking into the clouds!
Clouds are good Lol!😇
A day like today makes for an interesting hike!
I headed up to one of my favorite spots to take in the breathtaking view of Vancouver, BC!😀

As interesting as it was to experience up close a river out of control, I am very glad it didn't flood. I can't imagine how relieve the folks are in the 3 towns!💞

Oh my gosh, you guys have had so much rain! I have been hearing about it from all of my relatives in the Northwest! Of course, moisture is welcome but no one wants to have to go build an ark!

We have friends that live in the valley that were flooded two years ago, I can only imagine how they feel when it starts flooding!🙄

So I just had a couple o'days of my reports and not skimmed through yours and the rain happened eventually. Congrats on a mild flood and not a hard one is what I read in your report.

It was kind of spooky being down by the river, watching full size trees, floating by at about 35 miles an hour !😳

I can see that, weather closer to the ocean is determined by the ocean!
