READY OR NOT, HERE IT COMES! .................... Actifit Report Card: November 22 2023

Ready or not, here It comes!😀
Those of you that read Silvertop’s post, know I much prefer a hike in the forest, to a trip to a shopping mall Lol!😇
Tomorrow is “T Day” Turkey day…………….
A day to spend time with loved ones, enjoying a delicious meal together, and preparing for the start of the Christmas Holiday season!😇🤗
The rush is on!!😳
This is definitely a mixed blessing…………..
“ Liz are you sure it’s time to put up our Christmas tree Lol?”🥰
It’s the day when Silvertop will get his @actifit steps, crawling up in our garage attic pulling down tubs full of Christmas decorations!😅
“ Honey, this really heavy tub is marked FIRST Lol!”☺️
You see, when you have been Married “forever”( to your best friend) 😇, you start to accumulate everything, and Christmas stuff is no exception!🥰
While Silvertop enjoys a relaxing hike on Sumas Mountain, let me telll you about a Snowy Thanksgiving day many years ago in the High Country of Colorado!😊
The plan was to cut down a fresh alpine Christmas tree!😇
Liz started the Turkey cooking in the oven.
“ I’m sure this won’t take too long honey, we will be back in plenty of time for the Turkey!”
Liz, Silvertop, and our three small children, drove to the cross country ski trailhead. This was the designated Christmas tree hunting ground, determined by the bureau of land management BLM!😀
If you have ever watched the Griswold family Christmas show, at this point you would begin to get the idea how this was about to play out Lol!
After what seemed like Hours, everyone in the family decided we had found the perfect Christmas tree!🤗
The five of us dragged this very tall tree, till we couldn’t anymore!😅
2 feet was cut off the bottom, and we started out towards home again ……..
“ Liz was starting to worry about the turkey in the oven. We were still miles from home, dragging this tree through the snow Lol!🙄
Another 2 feet we cut off and we hiked more… Then another 2 feet…….
Finally safely back back home, Liz rescued the Turkey in the oven, it was just finished cooking!😅
“ Silvertop how tall it this tree now?”🥰
It just barely fit in our 18 foot tall living room!😳
You can’t make this stuff up Lol!🤣
