That was the common greeting today at Costco!☺️
Last minute change of plans!
This Thanksgiving shopping “extravaganza”, was going to be all day tomorrow, but the Mrs got a last minute call asking if she could work Tuesday.🙄
So with nice weather outside, Liz and Silvertop watched Mt Baker and Sumas Mountain fade into the background, and headed to town to join the crowds……shopping Lol!😇
One of the main reasons we were headed to Costco, was their seasoned rotisserie $4.99 whole chickens!😊
The Mrs and Silvertop are spending Thanksgiving at our son and his Wife’s house, so for just the two of us back home rotisserie chicken sounded easy and delicious!
“ Silvertop all the ovens are still cooking chickens, the shelves are empty!😮
So we stepped back away from the empty counter and watched dozens of chickens spin in the glass door ovens.
First one couple stepped up to the counter, then another, and another…………
Soon a line had formed, where Liz and Silvertop were actually first in line!
Liz hurriedly got in this newly formed line for rotisserie chickens, now we were somehow at the back of the Chicken line!🤔
Several young boys in front of us took three chickens!
As fast as the employees could fill the counters, they emptied!😳
“ Silvertop take two chickens!”🥰
Like a run on the Banks, Costco, was having a chicken run Lol!🤣
Was this because of Thanksgiving, or just the extremely good price of $4.99 Silvertop wasn’t sure…………..🤔
After checking out, we entered another set of double long lines to exit the building !🙄
It was just past 4 o’clock and outside was a sea of parked cars!
Before Liz hit the road it was twilight!😮
Closer to home we drove through the small town of Lynden……….
No crowds, it was quite……….
Many homes are already decorated for Christmas!🤗
Liz stopped in front of a friend of ours house to snap a few photos, check out @elizabethbit post, you might need sunglasses, our friend went “ all out” as usual for Christmas Lol!🤗
“ Are we home yet Liz, way too many people honey!”😳
I opened the door to be met with Cot sniffing………..😻
“ Careful Liz, Cot wants chicken Lol!”
“ Silvertop doesn’t everyone today Lol!”🥰
