It was time for a break………..

Silvertop froze in his tracks…………..
Is that……Yes it’s a Bobcat!😺
I pulled out my new iPhone, and recorded a short video!😊
I watched Mr Bobcat scurry quickly across the road……
Then he stopped, raised his tail straight up, looked directly at Silvertop, and quickly ran into the woods!😻
That was awesome!🤗
It has been a couple of years since I have spotted one of these beautiful wild cats!
I sent the video to my two grown sons, my oldest said……………..
“Dad, maybe there are more than one, maybe kittens, I’ll take one Lol!”😇
“Son, I think you will need a very large scratching post, or YOU will be the scratching post Lol!🤣😳
Silvertop always keeps his distance, these cats are beautiful to watch, but they definitely are very wild, and very dangerous animals!😼
I continued up to the pond……
It dipped below freezing last night, and today was a “blue sky” day!😎
You can see snow frosting the top of Sumas Mountain in the fifth photo!😊
No ice on the pond yet ……hmmm!
I was wearing one thin sweatshirt, and the temperature was dropping!🥶
It was time to head back home……..
Just maybe, Mr Bobcat will be waiting for Silvertop…………..
I’m sure I have some catnip somewhere here Lol!😇😻

That is really cool! It's been a very long time since I've seen a bobcat in the woods. They are so shy you almost never see them. That is one great find out there in the woods, much better than a bear!
