Silvertop tossed another log on the fire, it was 33 degrees Fahrenheit outside!๐ฅถ
The morning Sun was just above the tall Douglas Fir treesโฆโฆ..
Today I needed to cover the windows and the patio doors, on the western side of our house. I needed to spray paint the outside ceiling of our wrap around porch!๐
Thatโs not going to work Silvertop itโs too cold out!๐ค
I had a second tree fall during our last storm, I switched gears, and I went back into firewood splitting mode Lol!๐
That will buy me a few hours till the Sun warms everything up!๐
Later Cot watched, as Dad drug tarps across the patio doorsโฆโฆ.๐ฎ
You could see his inquisitive mind spinning!๐ป
Neither Cot, or his brother Cyle, like changeโฆโฆโฆโฆ
Dad covering up their view of the outside World, was the equivalent of Silvertop running into a Cougar in the Mountains!๐ฌ๐ณ
When I was finally finished painting, I slowly removed the protective tarps, only to be met with both boys staring at Dad!๐บ
โOK boys, I am finished for today, you two can go back to sleep, Dads going hiking!๐
The boys were happy, and Silvertop was as well, as he headed off into the Mountains!๐ค

Hiking in the winter can be enjoyable! We have snowshoes, and thatโs twice the workout and twice the fun!๐
We just got word from one of our neighbors this morning that a large cougar killed a neighbors, goat ๏ฟผ just up the road from us, time to be extra, careful hiking this weekend!๏ฟผ๐
Cougars are scary, because they like stealth attack. A bear you know is coming!
