Looks like someone has been working their fingers to the bones cutting firewood Lol!🤗
Silvertop was still chainsawing and cleaning up the tree that fell in the back yard, before today’s hike………….
“ When did that tree fall, Silvertop?”😲
A second tree fell in our side yard!
Hmmm……….. not much of a tree, the wood doesn’t look too good!🤔
“I’ll put it on my “ to do list” honey!”😇
We headed uphill for today’s hike, our friend Jan was ready!
She has been sick, and she was looking forward to today!😊
The fallen leaves covered the gravel road.
Fall is in full swing, one or two good rainstorms, and much of the color will be on the ground!😮
I let the Ladies set the pace, we were planning a longer hike today!😅
Our son just texted last night that he had a closer than comfortable encounter with a Cougar!😽
He actually stopped in his tracks, and turned around………😳
Mom and Dad were both glad Bill was being cautious!🥰
No Cougars on today’s trails, we have seen tracks in the snow…….they are here, probably watching Silvertop!😳
Cot told Mom and Dad to be careful! He said ………..
“ I don’t think I’m related to “THOSE” Cats Dad? I could climb up on your shoulders for today’s hike, and keep a lookout!”😻
“That’s OK Cot, you stay home and guard the house, you never know when one of those Cougar’s could be outside our house!”😳😽
Cot seemed happy to protect us!😻
I noticed he was “protecting” us from “HIS” nice warm waterbed Lol!😇
“No big Cats today Cot?”
He just purred, and rolled upside down!😻

It was a good day for a hike although a bit humid!
