Fall is here….maybe!😊
“The rain is coming Silvertop, you better hurry!”😲
On the top of my “to do list” today was climbing up on the roof and cleaning our wood burning chimney!😊
Normally I would wait for a Sunny day………
Painting, and other chores have delayed cleaning the wood stove……. It was time!😇
This has a rotating chimney cap, that needs to be cleaned, and then lubricated with high temperature grease, before reinstalling on the chimney.
“Silvertop it’s starting to rain!”😳
I climbed back up top just in time, minutes later it poured!😅
“All finished Liz, that will be $200 dollars Lol!”😇
Apparently local chimney sweeps charge anywhere between $130 and $350, with the average coming in at $255!😮
“How about a Latte in town Silvertop!”🥰
We needed to pick up an online order at Home Depot, so with the rain pouring down, we hopped in the Mrs car!😊
Home Depot was completely decorated for Fall!
“Fall is here Silvertop, I think tomorrow before Church I will need to stop at the “Free” pumpkin roadside stand!”🥰
Next stop was Walmart…………..
The Season’s changed!😲
Christmas as far as you could see!
“What day of the Month is it Liz?”😳
The rain was still coming down, as we hurried back to our car.
I snapped a photo of these “Burning Bushes” just brilliant red in full Fall color!🤗
“That was close Liz, I thought we had completely missed Fall Lol!”😇

Well, back in the day when I worked retail in Colorado, September would mark the beginning of 'blow mold' Christmas season. Blow mold was what the yard ornaments were called; the ones that were large and bulky and made out of plastic with a light bult stuck in the back side to illuminate it. Back then, I thought it was too early! Now, there isn't a blow mold season; really more inflatables, but I didn't even see that today. It's like they jumped straight into Christmas! Crazy!
Coffees were nice though!🤗💖😘😍

I have personally built two-story houses, and I am a licensed pilot, but I am definitely afraid of heights!😳
afraid of heights = do your knees start to shake uncontrollably? I knew a guy, we were both in a "cherry picker lift", he was ok going up to the first floor, but anything higher he's knees would start to shake, he was fun :))
I was OK building a two story house, but take me out to a very high bridge, and my hands start to sweat!😬😳
